TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer (US Citizenship REQUIRED)

RATE RANGE: $32.00 - $43.00 Hourly NOOT (no health benefits/no paid PTO while on contract-an hour worked is an hour paid)

SCHEDULE: 4/10-1st Shift, Shift hours are Mon-Thurs 5 AM-3:30 PM EST

DURATION: Contract to Hire (conversion normally happens after 6 months)

LOCATION: Onsite in Clearwater, FL 34677 (no relocation package)

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for CCA and module assemblies. Cable harness experience and process writing are a plus. Interprets engineering prints to design processes and works with design engineering to implement production improvements. Supports the production floor by working with the operations team and focusing on continuous improvement. Designs, procures, and implements tooling to support manufacturing processes. May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan. Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality. Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations and specifications.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

General Assembly 1 - 2 Years

AutoCad           1 - 2 Years

Blueprint Reading 1 - 2 Years

Candidate must be able to read/write English .

Candidate must be able to walk up and down stairs and must be able to lift at least 20 lbs.

Circuit Cards 1 - 2 Years

Circuit Card Assembly and Subassemblies Process

            

PREFERRED SKILLS:
 Cable Harness 1 - 2 Years

J-STD-001 1 - 2 Years

Surface Mount Technology < 1 Year

Wire harness Print Reading 1 - 2 Years

Electromechanical Subassembly

 

EDUCATION REQUIRED

BS+4-8 YRS or MS+2-6 YRS
