 Advanced Engineering Technician
Active Top Secret Clearance Required
On site: Scottsdale AZ
Long term W2 Hourly Contract
Hourly rate: $33 to $39.55 per hour* 

 GeoLogics is currently seeking an Engineering Technician with an Active Top Secret clearance to work on a classified program in facility in Scottsdale, AZ.  If you'd enjoy working with:

As an Advanced Engineering Technician, you'll be working with Engineering, Operations Support and individuals in other departments. You'll use your excellent technical and communication skills, to support engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment. This may entail performing the following:
  • Interpreting basic engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics
  • Constructing, modifying, debugging, troubleshootting, calibrating, testing and adjusting a variety of tools, equipment and systems
  • Conducting, analyzing and documenting statistically based experiments to define process parameters
  • Implementing and documenting complex solutions for process improvement
  • Designing and constructing basic tooling and fixtures to accomplish unique tasks
  • Organizing, analyzings and interpreting data to identify cause/effect relationships and recommends resolution/process improvement

For success in this role, you'll need: 
  • An Active Top Secret Clearance.   
  • An Associate's degree in related discipline or equivalent plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Solid knowledge and proficiency in the use of fabrication tools
  • Ability to fabricate complex hardware
  • Solid knowledge of generally accepted technical theory
  • Must be a team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success
  • Superior communication and collaboration skills
