- Install, configure, and maintain ServiceNow MID servers on Linux platforms for future Discovery and integration operations
- Manage Linux server infrastructure including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, or Ubuntu systems supporting ServiceNow
- Configure and maintain AWS infrastructure components including EC2 instances, RDS databases, VPCs, security groups, and networking for cloud-based ServiceNow resources
- Implement system hardening, patching, and security configurations aligned with federal security baselines (STIGs, CIS benchmarks)
- Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability; troubleshoot Linux-level issues affecting ServiceNow operations
- Automate deployment and configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation
- Manage backup and disaster recovery procedures for MID servers and supporting infrastructure components
- Coordinate with network and security teams on firewall rules, routing, and connectivity requirements across enclaves
- Maintain system documentation including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and configuration management databases
- 3+ years Linux system administration experience in enterprise environments
- 2+ years hands-on AWS experience including EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages
- Understanding of secure cloud architectures and compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, FISMA)
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or equivalent Linux certification preferred
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator certification strongly preferred
