TITLE: Altium PCB Designer

LOCATION: McLeansville, NC (Onsite, Hybrid Options)

Preferred candidates can work onsite in McLeansville, North Carolina, 3 or more days per week

SCHEDULE: 9/80

Required: Secret Clearance Secret (active or easily reinstated)

W2 Hourly Contract Only 

Hourly Rate Range: $45.00 - $57.00 with limited benefits

No exceptions (Sorry)  DoD US Citizenship is Required ***

We have an opening for an Altium PCB Designer to support CCA development for electronics used in high-reliability undersea communication systems 


REQUIREMENTS

  • Secret Clearance Secret (active or easily reinstated)
  • Associate's degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. 
  • A minimum of four years' experience using Altium for PCB design.


What sets you apart:  

  • Experience with Altium Designer 27 or Altium IPC footprint and schematic generators
  • Experience with library management practices in Altium or Xpedition. 
  • Knowledge of PCB layout tools from the Mentor Graphics suite (xDM, Xpedition. DXdatabook, BoardStation, Hyperlynx).
  • Experience with schematic capture in Xpedition and Altium is valuable.
  • 3D modeling in Solidworks, NX, or CREO.
  • Experience with Footprint Expert.
  • Circuit design and hands on prototyping experience.
  • Basic knowledge of IPC and manufacturing standards.
  • In depth knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques.  Ability to communicate with suppliers when asked to provide clarification on design documentation packages.
  • Documentation capture including (bill of material parts lists, ODB++ digital fabrication packages, 3D model generation)
