Tracking Systems Engineer needed: Scottsdale, AZ.  
 
We have an opening with a great client of ours and we are looking for a Tracking Systems Engineer to work in Scottsdale, AZ.  This is a 1 year long contract position, and you must be a US Citizen to apply. Required: US Citizenship and Residency, W2 hourly Contract Only, No 1099, No third parties, no C2C.  No exceptions (Sorry)
 
Pay: 44 to $54/hr. D.O.E.   -   Top Secret Clearance Preferred but not Required at Hire 
 
SOFTWARE TESTER 
As a Software Tester for the SDA GMI program, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our ground operational systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues and ensure our software meets the highest standards.
 
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
 
Testing and Quality Assurance:
  • Proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies
  • Strong understanding of test case design, test execution, and defect management
  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
 
Programming and Scripting:
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Shell scripting
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI)
 
DevOps and Continuous Integration:
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests
  • Experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
 
Security Testing:
  • Knowledge of security testing methodologies and tools
  • Familiarity with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment
 
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Ability to work effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficient in documenting test cases, test plans, and test results
 
TOOLS
 
Test Management and Automation:
  • Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Postman, SoapUI
  • Jenkins, GitLab CI
 
Version Control and Collaboration:
  • Git, Jira, Confluence
 
Security Testing:
  • OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite
 
Monitoring and Logging:
  • Splunk
