RATE RANGE: $45/hr - $57/hr W2 (no health benefits no PTO while on contract)
CLEARANCE Top Secret, obtainable within reasonable time based on requirements
LOCATION: HYBRID you must be in Scottsdale, AZ, Huntsville, AL, Manassas, VA, or Colorado Springs, CO (no relocation package)

Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. POSITION OVERVIEW
GeoLogics is currently seeking Systems Engineers in our Scottsdale, AZ location.
As a Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team developing and deploying state-of-the-art ground operational systems. Your work will directly contribute to the success and innovation of the program.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
Programming and Development:
Proficiency in Python and Java
Strong understanding of API design, testing, development, and management
Familiarity with Scaled Agile methodology and best practices
DevOps and Cloud:
Knowledge of DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, automation, configuration management, and infrastructure as code
Experience with AWS (AWS Solutions Architect preferred), Azure is a plus
Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
Security:
Understanding of security best practices, risk, compliance, vulnerability management, encryption, PKI, incident response, auditing, and monitoring
Collaboration and Communication:
Strong ability to work effectively with development, operations, and security teams
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Proficient in generating documentation and sharing knowledge
Artificial Intelligence:
Experience with prompt engineering and AI tools to accelerate workloads

CI/CD and Development:
GitLab, Nexus Managed Artifacts, Ansible, Terragrunt, ArgoCD
VS Code, Maven
Cloud and Containerization:
AWS: EKS, EC2, Lambda, S3, EBS/EFS, VPC, DNS, IAM, KMS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail
Kubernetes, Docker
Security, Monitoring, and Logging:
ACAS/Grype vulnerability scanning, SIEM (Splunk), Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
Version Control and Collaboration:
Git, Jira, Confluence
Agile experience preferred,
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
