Role: Systems Engineer
Client: Defense-Aerospace
Pay Rate: up to $72/hr (W2, non-benefited)
Length: 1-year contract
Location: Tucson, AZ
Clearance: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire
Description:
- Utilize your knowledge of models, simulations, test beds, prototypes, hardware integration, hardware manufacturing, warfighter (User) methodologies, and embedded test protocols to ensure comprehensive lifecycle testing that is both robust and affordable
- Broad customer interaction including Department of Defense (DoD) contract work
- Understand and define specialized capital investment needs
- Intense focus on "customer affordability', by using effective cost measurement techniques
- Drive improvements in product affordability through increased built-in-test capabilities and decreased lifecycle
Desired Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of four (4) years of experience directly related engineering experience
