TITLE: Python Developer (US Citizenship REQUIRED)
RATE RANGE: $65/hr - $75/hr W2 (no health benefits while on contract)
CLEARANCE: ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance REQUIRED
LOCATION: Onsite in Dedham MA 02026 (NO RELOCATION PACKAGE)

GeoLogics is actively seeking a Python Developer for our Secure Network and Voice Product Development Team. This position is critical for advancing our automated testing capabilities, requiring collaboration within an agile team to convert operational concepts into practical designs and implementations. The role entails transforming existing design and new specifications into design, coding, and conducting testing and debugging.
You will:
- Work on an agile team to design and implement automated testing solutions.
- Develop automation within a test framework.
- Building test automation into a CI/CD process (Jenkins, GitLab)
- Collaborate with developers to capture new and modified code.
- Solve complex problems and implement efficient solutions.
- Continuously learn and improve your coding skills.
- Work in an environment that encourages innovation and creativity.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong knowledge of Python programming.
Proficient knowledge of software tools supporting Integrated Development Environments (IDE), version control, defect reporting and scripting
Ability to turn concepts, specifications, or requirements into design and code.
Experience with testing and debugging.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
Understanding of software development best practices.
Passion for coding and staying updated with the latest technologies.
Agile experience preferred.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
