

- US Citizenship is required along with the ability to pass background checks needed to obtain a Secret level Clearance. Active clearance is a plus-but not required. This is your opportunity to break into the cleared industry.
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of job-related experience, or a Master degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
- Experience should include:
- ANSYS and MATLAB analysis tools, and ability to train others on these tools
- Shock Grade B by analysis
- Strong knowledge of material specifications and metallurgy, especially as they relate to submarine requirements
- Knowledge of weld types (MIL-STD-22) and processes (TP-1688 and 278)
- Strong proficiency with modeling CAD tools, especially Creo, to create mechanical models and drawings
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards
- Collaborative, creative thinker with experience leading complex projects
- Strong communication skills with ability to write technical papers and proposals
