Role: FPGA Design Engineer
Client: Defense-Aerospace
Salary: up to $74/hr W2, non-benefited  
Length: Long-term  
Location: Dedham, MA
Clearance: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Design and implement cutting-edge FPGA solutions, achieving closure on complex designs while meeting performance, area, and power requirements.
  • Integrate and close timing on designs involving embedded hard and soft processors, as well as commercial and custom IP blocks.
  • Support hardware/software integration and assist development teams in testing and validating FPGA designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to gather, define, and refine FPGA design specifications.
  • Contribute to the design and production of both low- and high-volume products.
  • Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
 
Required Experience:
  • Experience with Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC or similar FPGA platforms.
  • Proficiency in Vivado or equivalent FPGA development tools.
  • Knowledge of VHDL or similar hardware description languages.
  • Demonstrated ability to work through the complete FPGA design flow from specification to implementation and testing.
 
Education: 
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
