 Advanced Configuration Management Associate
Onsite in Manassas with options for Hybrid/Flex 
W2 hourly contract - US Citizenship Required
$32.40 to $41.35 Per hour DOE*

We are currently searching for a Configuration Management Associate to work onsite in Manassas VA.  Once established in the role, you'll have hybrid 9/80 and flex time options to allow you work/life balance 

In this important position as a  Configuration Management Associate, your duties will include:
  • Collaborating with hardware, software, test, and installation team members on build schedule(s) then initiating the build and packaging process.
  • Creating and evaluating system installation procedures for software and firmware releases.
  • Working with technicians and SMEs to generate, review and execute associated build documentation for correctness to ensure product quality.
  • Managing the configuration of software/firmware builds, ensuring the software/firmware components are properly controlled, tracked, and stored.
  • Ensuring
    •  the software builds are repeatable with no errors on all versions of media and can be replicated at any stage of its development and/or or post-development.
    • the software, test, and production environments match the final lab and shipboard installation builds.
  • Coordinating shipments of media to customer locations.
  • Coordinating with other programs/projects for software and firmware release posts and notifications.
  • Tracking and managing the required licenses for servers and network switches including license counts and usages.
  • Contributing to required contract deliverable documentation.
  • Other related duties and tasks will vary based on individual skills, experience and capabilities

To be successful in this role you'll need:  
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, a technical field or equivalent experience 
  • At least 2 years related experience 
  • Excellent knowledge of MIL-HDBK-61, DoD standards, and Configuration Management practices.
  • Working knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) applications (Windchill). 
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to adhere to company Configuration/Data Management policies.
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance
