

- Performing technical analysis, testing, and evaluation of moderately complex engineering problems
using specialized equipment and computer programs. - Analyzing and interpreting design specifications, drawings, documents, models, and test results to ensure technical designs comply with applicable engineering standards, military specifications, and product requirements.
- Developing and writing technical documentation, making revisions to existing documentation, and providing input to technical papers or presentations.
- Delivering technical presentations related to production support activities
- Creating & maintaining product parts, assemblies & drawings using PTC Creo Parametric 9.0 modeling software.
- Performing complex engineering design, development, analysis, experimentation, test, and
product assurance tasks of limited complexity for assigned portions of a project. - Solving moderately complex engineering problems which have not been clearly defined and may not have similar precedents available.
- Ensuring tasks meet cost, quality, schedule, and performance requirements.
- Appling wide range of engineering design and analytical theory, principles, techniques, and practices to a complex portion of a technical project.
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with customers.
- Acquiring and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant engineering disciplines,
industry practices, trends, and applications - Maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with safety policies and rules.
- Providing input to project leaders for the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets
- US Citizenship- Due to the sensitive nature of the work, you must be a citizen of the US to be eligible for consideration.
- Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant technical discipline (typically mechanical or aerospace engineering) plus 4 years relevant experience or a M.S. degree and 2 years' experience.
- Working knowledge of and hands on experience in creating moderately complex solid models and mechanical designs using CAD systems, preferable PTC Pro-E or CREO.
- 2+ years experience with Creo modeling and drawing generation
- Experience with EPDM system preferably Windchill
- Ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems that require a professional level of engineering knowledge.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Experience working with internal or external shops to manufacture designs
- Familiarity with relevant military and commercial design standards
- Familiarity with current computer applications and technologies in applicable engineering disciplines.
- Experience in military product production environment
- Experience in developing precision assembly tooling
- Strong preference for someone with a good working knowledge of
- GD&T principles (ASME Y14.5 (2009 or 2018))
