

- Working with development, system engineering, and production teams to accurately identify, characterize, resolve, document, and track hardware deficiencies.
- Troubleshooting and resolving transmit group hardware issues in the system integration and test, production, and power lab environments.
- Developing technical presentations, recommendations, and written communications to explain issues to program management and Navy customer team.
- Creating, reviewing, and executing hardware design documentation such as interface control drawings, assembly drawings, test procedures, and other technical documents.
- Researching and developing product specifications and interface requirements.
- Resolving complex hardware/software compatibility and interface design issues.
- Evaluating components to determine performance impacts to existing designs.
- Interacting with customers at technical and programmatic levels.
- US Citizenship and ability to pass background checks required to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Active clearance a plus
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Must have past leadership experience.
- Exceptional communication skills with the capacity to drive innovation and secure buy-in on concepts and ideas
- Understanding of power/analog hardware and systems, and electronics troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with hardware and system integration testing (Assembly Level Test / Unit Test / Integration Test / System Performance Test).
- Expert-level understanding of hardware development processes throughout the lifecycle of the program or project
- Experience with circuit card design using advanced materials and packaging techniques
- Collaborative, creative thinker with demonstrated success leading design teams for complex projects
- Working knowledge of the Linux
- Desired:
- High speed circuit card design incorporating embedded processors or FPGAs,
- Acoustics and/or Sonar applications
- Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD)
